A mental noir thriller set in 1960's New York in light of Patricia Highsmith's novel, 'The Blunderer'. Walter Stackhouse is rich, effective and miserably wedded to the wonderful however harmed Clara. His craving to be free of her sustains his fixation on Kimmel, a man associated with severely killing his own better half.
