It tells the story of a struggling man who, after flying home to L.A. for the funeral of his estranged record-producer father, discovers that the will stipulates that he must deliver $150,000 in cash to a 30-year-old alcoholic sister he never knew existed, and her troubled 12-year-old son.
nudity | We see a woman unzip a man's pants and a very brief glimpse of the woman's legs around the man. The main plot of the movie is about how a man has two children with two different women. A woman talks about her past life of promiscuity. She states that at the time of accidentally conceiving her child, she had been sleeping with a different man every night and that she has no idea who the father of her child is. A boy tells a man not to grab his balls A boy says that he knows what he should do with himself after seeing a pretty girl. A woman makes a comment that wearing revealing clothing helps her earn tips at her job. A young boy talks about a neighbor who goes braless. |

alcohol | Cigarette smoking is seen quite a bit. A man and woman are shown extensively while smoking what seems to be marijuana. It is later revealed that it had been prescribed. A man is shown drinking a large amount of alcohol. There are a few scenes at a local rehabilitation meeting. The drug and alcohol use in this movie is pretty hard for a PG-13. |
frightening | When Sam tells Frankie that he is indeed her brother, it is a pretty emotional and intense sequence The whole movie carries an undertone of a somewhat intense subject matter that might upset some viewers. |
