frightening | At the beginning of the film there is a tense airplane scene that might disturb the viewer. When the effects of the virus are shown, it might frighten young children. One or two of the fighting scenes may be a little intense. Towards the end, Ethan tricks Ambrose into killing Stamp. This can be hard to watch. the final fight between Ethan and Ambrose is very brutal and intense ORIGINAL CUT was R.. Director John Woo said that story beats & violence extension were toned down to secure thePG-13 rating it received, yet most of the violence within the film could be categorized as "R rated content", especially for how brutal & intense it is throughout the film, with some blood present during these moments (mostly prevalent in the climax of the movie). |
