violence | The movie is about a "spiritual" cult committing mass suicide, when that happens it is not bloody or gory. However, events leading up to that event, in which the ring leader of that cult is convincing the followers into death and then resurrection, the methods are unconventional, pretty violent and gory. There is a crucifixion scene mid-through the end of the movie that is explicit, bloody and disturbing. A dead body is shown near the end of the first act of the movie, where one character falls and punches through the body (unintentionally), some blood is shown. |
profanity | at least 10 F-words. Taking G-D's name in vain. |
alcohol | Some smoking and drugs; drugs are used for the mass suicide. |
frightening | The Veil might just be the scariest movie I have seen since The Conjuring (2013), it is truly disturbing, violent with a couple of unexpected jump scares that will shock viewers. The third act of the movie is intense, and very scary. The official certifications are included by IMDB below |
