Watch Terminator 3 : Rise of the Machines (2003) Online
More than 10 years after 'Terminator 2', John Connor now exists only as a drifter - living 'off the grid', so no more Terminators from the future can hunt him down. Unfortunately, SkyNet does send another one back - and this one is called the T-X, even more powerful & advanced than the dreaded T-1000. However, another CSM-101 Terminator is also sent back to protect John against the T-X. Now, Skynet is patiently assuming control of civilian computer systems, under the guise of a computer virus. John has also met his future wife, Kate Brewster, whose father - a U.S. Air Force General - is in charge of the military computer systems & is leery of up linking SkyNet. However, when the SkyNet virus infects the U.S military computers & leaves the country open to attack, the machines begin their horrific takeover. Soon a nuclear war will result - and the war against the machines will begin. Can the outdated CSM-101 Terminator eliminate the highly advanced T-X - or will a darker future await ..
nudity | A female terminator is seen nude as she stands from squatting (side view - no 'parts' shown), then in a walking scene towards the camera, showing nothing. She then walks towards a car, with her breasts covered by her long hair. The camera then shows her fully nude from the rear, her bare buttocks are seen. The top of a male's buttocks is seen briefly. When Arnold (T-850) is walking towards a club/bar (at night) you can partially see his buttocks very briefly before a dark shadow covers him. The Terminator says that Kate is "of breeding age". |
violence | A woman drives up to the ordering window of a drive-thru restaurant; she pulls out a gun and begins firing it. The camera cuts away to a very long shot. Basically we just hear the gunshots - we never see the corpse or the impact or anything; all of this is off-screen. A man opens a door for a woman; she pushes him to the ground and shoots him repeatedly off-screen. A man is shot repeatedly with a pistol; a little bit of blood is seen. A man crushes another man's hand (no blood, not graphic at all). A woman kills a man, off-screen; we then hear a whirring sound and blood splashes onto a nightstand and picture frame. A man in a car rams his hand through the driver's seat and impales the driver; a small amount of blood is shown on the interior of the car, but lots of it is seen on his chest. The man in the passenger seat is then killed. In one scene, many people are slaughtered by robots. Not very much blood is seen. A man puts a gun to his head, threatening to kill himself. A woman is shot; she falls to the floor, with a wound in her chest. Another woman walks over to her, and touches the wound. A cyborg uses a sharp object to cut open his chest and reveal the machinery underneath. We see some blood and hear some squelching sounds as he cuts open the tissue. |
profanity | Three uses of fuck. One used when John Connor says "fuck you, you fucking machine". And another scene where he says "Fuck my life." Many other profanities. |
alcohol | Teenagers are having a party, drinking some light alcohol. A boy says he hears his parents and tells everyone to hide the alcohol. |
frightening | There is non stop action violence throughout. MPAA/USA - Rated R for strong sci-fi violence and action, and for language and brief nudity. BBFC/UK - Rated 12A (intense threat, violence, bloody images, strong language). |
