Rizwan Khan, a Muslim from the Borivali area of Mumbai, experiences Asperger's disorder, a type of advanced a mental imbalance that confuses socialization. The grown-up Rizwan weds a Hindu single parent, Mandira, in San Francisco. After 9/11, Rizwan is kept by powers at LAX who mix up his inability for suspicious conduct. Taking after his capture, he meets Radha, an advisor who offers him some assistance with dealing with his circumstance and his suffering.
