Kevin McCallister is back. But this time he's in New York City with enough cash and credit cards to turn the Big Apple into his very own playground. But Kevin won't be alone for long. The notorious Wet Bandits, Harry and Marv, still smarting from their last encounter with Kevin, are bound for New York too, plotting a huge holiday heist! Kevin's ready to welcome them with more battery of booby traps the bumbling bandits will never forget!
nudity | 1/10 Kevin mentions about Uncle Frank taking a shower and he told him if walks in and sees him naked he will never grow up feeling like a real man. This is a male joke and kids will not get it. Kevin mentions about his dad's naked rear end getting spied on. |
violence | 3/10 At the Christmas pageant Buzz starts a fight and Kevin punches him and the show breaks up and a woman gets knocked back in the piano chair. This is meant for laughs. Kevin watches another robbery movie in the hotel with a machine gun. Like the first Home Alone there is slapstick violence but it's a little more harsh in this one: Harry, one of the bad guys flies out and falls on a car and shatters the window. Marv, the other bad guy gets electrocuted by the sink when Kevin hooks a generator to it. Both bad guys get bricks thrown at them but Marv ends up being the only one to get hit. The bad guys get other traps done on them. Staple gun, paint cans, tool chests, tools etc. Harry and Marv point a gun at Kevin, The bird lady throws bird seeds at them and they eat on them and yell. The birds eating on them is the funny part of this scene. |
profanity | 2/10 The word "oh my god" being used in the movie. The word "Crapped" is used in the movie. A use of shit 1 dammit Name calling such as you nosy little pervert, big horses ass, idiots. |
alcohol | 2/10 Brief smoking is seen by two women in the park. |
frightening | Kevin can be seen wandering alone in New York, Central Park at night with scary people bullying him and the taxi driver even scaring him. Some parts could be scary to young kids. Rating should be PG for slapstick action/violence, some language and rude humor. It's a family movie but kids under 6 may be spooked by some of it. If movies had ESRB ratings: E10+ for Comic Mischief, Language, Mild Blood, Mild Violence, Tobacco Reference. |
